A little about me to help you decide....
Hello, I'm Mary, a registered Counsellor with the BACP.
This is the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, a professional body. This means that I am qualified, registered and accountable to the BACP for my practise and professional ethics.
Originally a registered nurse, I qualified as a Person Centred Counsellor in 2009 at Manchester College of Arts & Technology. I have experienced a variety of counselling placements working in organisations such as ChildLine, Cruse, Place2Be and local churches. I have done additional training in order to expand my knowledge framework and supported clients with a wide variety of issues.
As a result of all these different experiences I offer Person Centred Counselling, with an option to integrate various useful tools that are traditionally from other models of counselling the client may find helpful.
I have enjoyed Counselling a diverse range of clients in terms of their age (14 to 96!), race, culture, religion, sexuality, education and life experiences.

How every person reacts to a situation is different.
